LEXPO International Curation Presents 14 Taiwanese Artists in Cultural Dialogue at BANK ART FAIR Singapore 2025
Under the attention of the international art community and collectors, the BANK ART FAIR will be held again in Singapore from December 12 to 14, 2025. Following its success in attracting international collectors in 2024, this year's edition will take place in the luxurious setting of the Pan Pacific Singapore Hotel (6th and 7th Floors), gathering 54 international galleries to showcase a diverse spectrum of art.
Singapore is actively cementing its position as the art hub of Southeast Asia, growing rapidly and attracting numerous international galleries, art fairs, and institutions. Its market strength is driven by robust government support for cultural initiatives, favorable tax policies (such as tax-free warehousing at the Singapore Freeport), and a high concentration of high-net-worth individuals.

The Singapore art market not only reflects its rich local multicultural history (including Nanyang style and Chinese calligraphy) but also represents the broader artistic landscape of Southeast Asia. With increasing international attention, contemporary art has become the market's focal point, continuously enhancing Singapore’s influence in the competitive Asian art center landscape.
The Taiwanese international curatorial brand, LEXPO Taiwan, has selected 14 Taiwanese artists to participate (Room 701) with a unique curatorial perspective. Through a variety of works ranging from painting to mixed media, the exhibition aims to showcase Taiwan's deep cultural heritage and flourishing creative energy to the international stage, making it one of the most anticipated sections of the art fair.

Exhibition Highlights: 14 Artists Constructing the Contemporary Pulse of Taiwanese Art
Each of the 14 artists presented by LEXPO Taiwan possesses a unique style and profound creative concept. The exhibition will present a rich dialogue that transcends the traditional and the modern, the figurative and the abstract:
LU, HSUEH-YAO: Inspired by the vibrant flora of Taiwan, the tropical island, his creations revolve around the theme of "Eden." Through kaleidoscopic rotating compositions and decorative styles, he presents an overlapping universe where flowers, seasons, and human relationships intertwine, exploring the interaction between viewing and being viewed.
Sarena Lo: Creates a gentle atmosphere with warm pink tones, using flowers, animals, and dreamlike fish to convey the tender poetry and message of peace in harmonious coexistence between humans and nature, embodying the artist's core concept of seeking healing and tranquility.
Emmy Chen: Primarily uses alcohol ink as her medium to create fluid scenes reminiscent of the deep sea or the cosmos. Her works are filled with deep layers of color and brilliant light, revealing the abundant vitality beneath the surface, and viewing painting as a vital personal healing process.
Hsing Yi Hsieh: Integrates stars, galaxies, and the grand cosmic imagery into his creations, comparing the pulsating stars to the rhythm of the heart. His works explore the conscious connection and resonance between the universe's breath and time-space, reflecting his capture and contrast of subtle emotions.
Po Yuan Chen: Uses ink wash to conduct diary-like writing and depiction, combining it with the experience of traversing mountainous areas. Through the act of walking, he explores the contemporary possibilities of merging physical sensation with the Eastern ink wash vocabulary.
Chia-hsiu Kuo: Through creations featuring flowing color layers, she presents the echoing heart flow between celestial rings and the ocean, showcasing the vast vitality of the sky and nature. She believes that the transformation and flow of all things are blessings, reflecting the interconnectedness of life.
Yen Hui Chen: Incorporates Eastern mythological imagery such as the Moon Rabbit and White Stag into contemporary art. By combining soft pink and warm yellow tones, she creates an atmosphere of warm blessings and auspiciousness, symbolizing the courage to pursue light and true self.
Yen Ju Chen: Her works are inspired by the mountainous return in Hualien and the light of Tainan, capturing the historical cries and life echoes from the land. Through ethereal imagery and the reflection of light, she presents a tribute to ancestors and an etching of hope.
Karen, Yao-Chun Chiu: Her works focus on relationships between loved ones, depicting love, companionship, and new adventures. By sharing, she transforms difficulties into warmth, emphasizing the importance of accompanying one another, where even the smallest joys shine through shared experience.

CHUANG YI HUNG: Her creative core is to use the simple symbol of the rabbit and contrasting color blocks to generate hidden meanings. Colors are mainly chosen based on inner feelings and intuition, expressing a delicate and sensitive side filled with compassion and love, while also embodying directness, generosity, courage, and strength.
Su-Chiao Chao: Returns to the depths of the heart through art, using blessings from zodiac imagery to entrust wisdom, sensitivity, and affection into her works. Her creations encourage viewers to bravely embrace their most precious dreams and happiness and step onto their own free stage.
Paulina (Pui Ling): As an Ebru water marbling artist, she specializes in Ebru, Flow Painting, and illustration. Her works blend multimedia techniques to convey love and healing power, and she is dedicated to promoting the thousand-year-old heritage of Ebru art.
Hong Yin: Excels at depicting sacrifice and elegance with meticulous brushstrokes. Through the gentle power of empathy and compassion, she expresses giving and receiving love in her paintings, bringing spiritual healing and tranquility to the viewer, demonstrating profound sensibility.
Mr.Likey: A graduate of the University of the Arts, his work is deeply influenced by American cartoons and street culture. He excels at deconstructing and merging global popular symbols, such as combining the characteristics of pets and owners, or Asian snack mascots with American cartoon characters, thereby reflecting the American-Asian experience of seeking identity and cross-cultural life dynamics.
